It seems like it's been awhile...how have you been? We're back in the game over here and crafting away like mad! Thank you to all who left such nice well-wishes on my last posts...they are truly appreciated.

So how darn cute is this elf I made?! Vivian taught Sandy and I how to make these last weekend when we got together for crafting at my house. I can't wait to attempt some more clay sculpting thanks to Viv!
She also brought us these adorable bear-snowmen!

Sandy made Viv and I these baby-it's-cold-out-side snowgirls...

and even spoiled us with some other treats!...

I made them these stuffed fabric oversized ornaments...

We also did a Christmas orni swap along with Tammy and Heather but I will show you those another time!
Since last weekend, since I have been sick, I stuck to the house and worked on holiday crafts and gifts mostly.
I've been having fun making pompom garlands...

I made this little shadowbox for my kitchen...

And made a journal from a vintage Frosty Golden Book to glue photos into...

And this morning I read Vanessa's post on making old-fashioned paper snowflakes and knew this was just the thing to keep Scarlet occupied for the morning!

She glued and glittered and pretended to be the head elf in Santa's workshop! (I was appointed "Elf Paper Cutter"!)

She was so loaded in glitter (she's NOT a neat crafter!..not a neat anything for that matter!) that when she got into the shower I noticed even her butt had glitter on it!

But it was quite worth it. We had fun and now we have pretty, sparkly snowflakes over the table! (yes, she decided to lose the shirt when she realized the amount of mess that was going to take place!)

We've been having lots and lots of cozy time around the house...listening to Christmas music, lighting candles, drinking hot cocoa, reading books, and snuggling!

How has your December been going so far?
I will be back soon! xox
