soooooo fun.....

I'm so exhausted!! Our Garden Art Party weekend just got wrapped up and I'm beat! But a good beat. We had such a nice time! I will be back with some details, but I'm off to rest a bit so here are some pics of the fabulous friends and I who were so happy to get to spend some time together...

The invitations were sent, the flights were scheduled, and now here it is! My Garden Art Party with a couple of my favorite art friends is finally happening!

So I'm getting all my last minute stuff done, and then it's all fun from here on out! So I will be missing til early next week, then I'll come back with a few photo-filled posts from the party!

Hello friends! Time is flying by like I can't believe! All I can slow down for is little photo updates to capture my days. So here's today...

I spend so much time running out to water in the evening...give me some rain! Or I should say "we" run out to water....here's my garden helper...

Love those polka dot shorts!

The pear tree is slowly growing. I love this tree! I bring all the pears to my students.

I love the light that comes through the windows in the evenings. The nights have been so nice. Here's some glow in my family room on my crazy orange velvet couch I love!

I cut the cover for my 3rd Fult Tilt Boogie journal taught by the ever-fabulous Mary Ann and found some vintage Brunschwig & Fils fabric for the binding tapes!

I am addicting to these journals!!

Which means I'm in an ever-increasing mess of crafty goodness! Which just happens to be today's photo prompt over at my flickr group .

My mom brought me this awesome hangable she made me today! I love the fabric design! She made it as a pretty decoration for my Garden Art Party that is NEXT WEEK! Oh what I wouldn't give for some more time!! But I'm so excited to see her , her , her , her , her , and her !!! So much fun to come...

Summertime ATCs

Today I made 4 ATCs for Linda's swap and will be sending them out in the mail tomorrow! Can't wait to see what the other 4 girls make. We were to make cards based on what summertime means to us, so I used my own photos for the ATCs...2 from my garden and 2 from the beach (one even featuring Scarlet!).
