{one} have you ever fainted? oh yes! twice! right on my face off of a chair the first time, then very dramatically into the arms of a good-looking guy the second time (I kid you not!)
{two} what is your favorite casino game? drinking the free drinks
{three} do you have a good sense of direction? yes. way better than most of the people i know!
{four} laptop or desktop? laptop
{five} what is your go-to hair style when having a bad hair day? my hair is pretty much exactly the same every day so I can't say I have bad hair days. I wash it, brush it, and that's the end of it!
{six} do you read the newspaper on a daily basis? no, just occassionally. But I do read books on a daily basis.
{seven} do you have a favorite celebrity chef? no, cause I don't watch TV, so I wouldn't even know about celebrity chefs. I have cookbooks, but nothing "celebrity chef" worthy!
{eight} what tv show would you like to make a guest appearance on? Again, I don't watch TV so I have no idea.
{nine} do you have satellite radio in your car? No. and my CD player is broken so it makes me nuts!! I love music and have been dealing with just the radio for the last 10 months! and I drive a lot!
{ten} what was the last movie that made you cry? Seven Pounds made me shed a tear, which is rare because I usually don't cry at all, let alone at movies. I usually sleep during movies!

I had mentioned on a previous post that I'd like to swap ATCs with whoever is up for it, and my offer was taken up by 3 great girls! I asked them to pick a theme and we'd swap two cards.
Jacqueline in Quebec wanted the themes "Hope" and "Grace", so here's what I made:
Karen in Arizona wanted the theme of Birds and Eggs, so I made these...
And Margaret in Switzerland wanted Vintage Summer and Vintage Easter, so I made these...
I hope the girls like their ATCs! If you are an ATC-swapper and would like to swap one or two with me, let me know!
Also, don't forget to sign up on my previous post for Kandeland's Mail Love Postcard Swap: Round Two! I have been adding cards to my pantry closet doors, and just love all the inspiration!
Sign-ups are open til Wednesday, so leave a comment if you'd like to participate!

Let's do it again!
All of the swappers last month had a great time sending and receiving inspirational postcards! I've gotten emails from participants saying they loved the swap as well as emails from others who did not make it into the sign-ups and asked if I'll have this swap again. So I thought...why not? Let's get round two going!
Here's just a peek of the plethora of inspirational postcards (some handmade, some store bought- all beautiful!) that I received in the last 2 weeks...
It was so fun to come home from work everyday and get a pretty card with an inspirational quote on the back!
SO...if you didn't catch it the first time around, or if you'd like to join in again, leave a comment on this post and let me know if you'd like to play along! I will keep sign-ups open until Wednesday, April 13th.
Again,
*this swap is set up in groups of roughly 10 players
*send out (handmade or not!) an artful postcard to each player in your group. Include a favorite inspirational quote on the back. Receive that amount in return.
This swap is cheap and easy! Postcard stamps are only 28 cents and not much is required of you...no stress!
This is a fun way to get happy mail and not have much "swap pressure" at all! Just make sure that if you sign-up you are committed to having your postcards sent out by the mail deadline: May 4th!! That gives you 3 weeks to buy or make about 10 postcards and throw them in the mail.
We all had so much fun the last time around that I hope you will join in!!
THE SWAP IS NOW CLOSED! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO JOINED ROUND TWO!

{one} what is one food that, as an adult you love, but as a child you said you’d never touch? Cauliflower
{two} did you go to college? if yes, what was your major? Yes...University of Vermont. English and Sociology majors, Art minor
{three} what’s the most wild animal you’ve seen in real life (not counting the zoo)? coyote I guess...
{four} have you ever been to a fortune teller? yes, once. My neighbor was one and I was totally doing it cause I felt obligated and didn't believe in it, and here 15 years later I just discovered everything she said about the future was true...weird!
{five} can you juggle? Nope!
{six} hardwood floors or carpet? Definitely hardwood.
{seven} is it called “soda” or “pop”? Pop of course! I'm from Buffalo!
{eight} what was your first car? A Honda Accord
{nine} what is the most decadent dessert you’ve ever eaten? Hmmm...probably a bunch of different ones, but my favorite is creme brulee so I'd say that's the most decadent for me.
{ten} how often do you rearrange your furniture? uh...never! I'm lucky to rearrange knick-knacks! My mom couldn't even go in my room growing up for fear she's mess up the exact spot of where things went!
(OOPS! I forgot to announce the atc winner...it's Margaret Werner! thanks for entering!)

Yes, I love Mondays! No, I'm not being sarcastic! I love getting back into the rhythm of things. Work, spinning class, routine, routine, routine! And Monday nights have great open mics too! (not that I'm at one tonight, but sometimes!)
Anyway, I wanted to pop in quickly for two reasons. One, to tell you the name drawn from the basket for the spring candle giveaway.
Gigi Lorenc!! You got the candle! Please email me your mailing address Gigi and I will get it right out to you.
And since I'm on a real giveaway roll here, let's do another little one!
I have been doing a lot of swapping of ATC's with my friend Kimberly and so I made an extra one to giveaway this week.
If you would like this "Adore Me" ATC, just leave a comment on this post and I will draw a name on Wednesday!
And speaking of swapping with Kimberly, last week's requirement was to use old paper for the ATC background. Kimberly made this gorgeous card...
And I made Kimberly this card with antique ledger paper as well...
If you are interested in swapping ATCs please let me know! I love to collect and make them and would love to swap with you!
Have a happy Monday!
