This month, now at an end, brought with it it's own reminders and lessons.
These are some things that February brought to my attention...
* It's still hot cocoa weather, whether I want it to be or not.
* Pushing yourself that extra mile always feels so good in the end.
* I have a lot of pet peeves that are relevant, yet not specific to, movie theater conduct.
* If I am patient, and wait, I will probably find every book I want at a very discounted price.
* I like Schweppes ginger ale better than Canada Dry.
* I am still in love with Mexican food like it's the first time I ever ate it.
* Some people take themselves way too seriously.
* I don't take very good care of my skin.
* I've never met a red wine I didn't at least kinda like.
* If I didn't wear so much makeup on my eyes, every time I hang out with my brother I'd probably laugh so hard, and with so many streaming tears, that my face would be all blown-out and swollen for days.
* Everyone appreciates well-presented food.
* I have a new-found obsession with hearts.
* Next to rabbits being eaten alive by coyote, complaining is probably the worst sound ever (even if it is me!).
* I have a hard time putting a lid on fun.
* I love lavender car-fresheners.
* Napping on the couch is heavenly. What I wouldn't give to do it daily.
* You don't need to speak the same language to laugh together, and laugh hard.
* Being a "yes" person brings so many experiences that would have been missed otherwise.
* Live improvisational music makes me so happy to watch and listen to.
* Scarlet will never NOT run in the house. No matter how many time I say it.
* I miss the beach.
What has February shown you?
