The queen of whimsical creations is now in local bookstores!! I went to Barnes and Noble over the weekend and was delighted to see this gorgeous book gracing the shelves! Lisa Kettell's Altered Art Circus !! Lisa's new book is loaded with projects that you will love, packed with great information, and overflowing with inspiring and beautiful photos. I couldn't be happier to scoop up this book, not only because of what's inside, but also because Lisa is one of the sweetest girls I've been lucky enough to know! Her work is magical and fun...and she is a true asset to the world of art and blogging. If you haven't visited Lisa's faerie world, rush on over to http://faerieenchantment.blogspot.com and say hello!
The above piece is something I treated myself to at Silver Bella '08! I was lucky enough to have some one-to-one time with Lisa at breakfast, as well as get a behind-the-scenes view of her work in progress in her hotel room! And let me tell you- all of her creations are magical! Magical enough that even Miss Mary Engelbreit made a purchase from her on Vendor Night! So the next time you need a little whimsical inspiration, head over to Lisa's blog, and also grab this book!!
Oh, and before I go for today, I want to announce the winner of the Valentine's Giveaway (#3):
Heather of http://speckled-egg.blogspot.com !! Many thanks to everyone who left a comment to be in the drawing!
Be back tomorrow with more show and tell....
